ROYSA Coaching Community:
ROYSA is pleased to announce a new series of coaching clinics to further enhance the level of coaching that our organization provides our players. There are two series tailored specifically for coaches at all levels. All of the sessions will be directed and overseen by Mike Ruddy, the ROYSA Director of Coaching.
Each series is limited to 30 coaches on a first come, first serve basis and will be held at Keller Elementary School. When you sign up for the clinic you are signing up for all of the clinics in your series. There is no fee to attend these clinics.
1) ROYSA COACH INTRODUCTORY CLINIC
These clinics are intended for U-5, U-6, U-7 and U-8 recreational coaches.
There are three parts to this series:
Session 1: Feb. 2nd 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Dribbling and Methods
Session 2: Feb. 15th 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Passing – Receiving / Care Prevention
Session 3: Feb. 29th 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Shooting & Team Management / Laws
Location: Keller Elementary Gym (Campbell & 12 Mile)
Class Size: 30 coaches
Instructor: Mike Ruddy
2) ROYSA ADVANCE COACHING CLINICS
These clinics are intended for all Renegades coaches and U-9 through U-19 Recreational Coaches.
There are four parts to this series:
Session 1: January 4th 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Dribbling and Methods
Session 2: January 11th 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Passing / Receiving & Curriculum
Session 3: January 18th 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Shell Game & Shooting
Session 4: February 1st 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Attacking and Defending
Location: Keller Elementary Gym (Campbell & 12 Mile)
Class Size: 30 coaches
Instructor: Mike Ruddy
HOW TO REGISTER
To sign up for a clinic you must be registered in the Blue Sombrero registration system. Once you are registered (or if you are already) log into your account and hit the red Register Now button to the right of your name. Then select the appropriate clinic.
Only active ROYSA coaches are eligible to participate in the clinics.
