Scholarship

The Royal Oak Youth Soccer Association seeks to promote the value of a higher education through this scholarship opportunity. We offer a $1000 scholarship to 4 High School seniors.

Please complete this entire application, with essay, in doc or pdf format to be considered for the Scholarship. Applications are due on or before April 2, 2010 for evaluation. No applications will be accepted with a postmark after that date.

Coach Joe McLaughlin Memorial scholarship - closed

Coach Joe McLaughlin Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior in the desire to continue one’s higher education by recognizing the quality of helping others through volunteering their time and skills to soccer teams and individuals of ROYSA. The scholarship is in the form of tuition awards of $500.

Jim Millar Memorial scholarship - closed

Jim Millar was a long time soccer coach for both ROYSA and Royal Oak Dondero. His family has established a Memorial Scholarship for both male and female soccer players at Royal Oak High School.

Coach Millar always looked for players with dedication and a hard work ethic. This scholarship will be awarded to a player based on these attributes.

The Scholarship is a one time award of $500.
